Another Teentroversy : Miley Cyrus’s Photo Scandal
Blissfully innocent Hannah Montana star, 15 year Miley Cyrus is caught in a photo scandal. Suggestive pictures of her (or, arguably, a look alike) were leaked over the internet.
One photo shows her exposing a bright coloured bra as she pulls down on her tanktop. Another photo shows her sprawled across a young man, and another one shows her (underage, remember) holding a drink in her hand and sticking out her tongue.
Last year, photos of Cyrus and a friend ‘romping’ in a hotel room were exposed on the internet. She issued a statement in response, saying that the night was nothing more than a sleepover.
Speculation is that this is all just a publicity stunt, as Miley is set to perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards – the 44th annual awards ceremony. In a recent interview, Cyrus said that she would like to focus more on her country roots (Her dad is country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.) She is going to sing “The climb” which could either be slotted as a country or a pop song, depending on which version you hear.
The star is known as a singer, an actor, and a writer – she just released an autobiography titled” Miles to Go” and was promoting it at Barnes and Nobles in New York. That’s quite an achievement for a 16 year old! She’s got to have a lot of stress already, with all the performances, schedules, managers, and the expectations. Let’s just cut her some slack with this new photo scandal, say ‘kids will be kids’ and leave it at that.
