Britney Spears Proves She Can Still Perform
Britney Spears has just officially made a comeback. Although she “may” have lipsynched all throughout the concert in New Orleans, Britney has received an overwhelming review from both critics and fans (old ones, re-gained ones and new ones). And with such a spectacular performance and amazing costumes (MANY photos below), Britney may just completed the final stage of her comeback.
The Circus world tour started in New Orleans, wherein lucky people from the crowd witnessed a dozen costume changes and experienced a 17-song set. Unlike Britney’s past performances before her breakdown, Ms. Spears was filled with energy last night.
While most fans who watched the concert were thrilled, such as fan Natasha Stcyr who told Reuters, “The theatrics, the performance, it was great. Phenomenal. It was definitely a circus. It was awesome. She’s definitely back,” some were “disappointed” mainly because of the lipsynch.
Apparently, no bad reviews can stop Britney Spears now. Since her “Circus” album launched in December, it has sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide. The pop star is set to perform in 31 cities in the US before she brings her entire circus to perform 8 shows at London in June.
