Coolio Busted for Cocaine Possession
Coolio has been arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport on Friday for drug possession. Apparently, Coolio (whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr.) was going through routine security checks while boarding and was allegedly found with crack cocaine by South Airlines crew.
After his booking, Coolio’s bail was set for $10,000.
The rapper is best known for the 1995 hit Gangsta’s Paradise. He was recently a contestant on Celebrity Fear Factor, and has been hosting the online program Cookin With Coolio.
