The Dancing with the Stars has lost two “stars.” Supposed-to-be ballroom competitors Nancy O’Dell and Jewel have dropped out of the ABC hit show a few days before Season 8 starts.
Jewel fractured her tibias in both legs, while O’Dell suffered two knee cartilage tears. These injuries are the latest in a series of “curse” problems the show has witnessed in recent seasons.
Jewel explained, “I originally thought it was tendinitis or ligament strains. It was painful enough for a doctor to put me on cortisone. When I went in for an MRI, it turned out to be something else. I had no idea something like this was possible.”
Apparently, Jewel has been practicing for more than 8 hours a day, which caused stress fractures below her knees. While she has been performing still, her concerts require Jewel to sit down because of the clutches. Fortunately, the injuries will heal in six to nine weeks, but she won’t be able to join the competition.

Good writing. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed my Google News Reader..

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is fantastic blog. A fantastic read. I will definitely be back.
