Jen Schefft is not single anymore. The previous ‘Bachelorette’ star tied the knot in Chicag on June 15.
It was a private affair with as few as 50 – 60 guests. “It was a very small wedding but very fun,” says a guest who attended the wedding also adding “She looked beautiful.” The wedding was held at the Private Dining Rooms of Spiaggia in Chicago on Friday night.
“Joe’s sister cried giving her speech,” said the guest, “but that was it for the crying.” Waterman’s sister offered the toast along with his best man.
The party was great. Late dinner was served around 10 p.m. The guests enjoyed a lavish meal which included beef, chicken, pulled pork and pasta, followed by cake. A Deejay was arranged for the music and the guests danced till over midnight.
“We didn’t hit up the dance floor until later and we were all on it past midnight,” said the guest.
“We really get each other,” Jen Schefft told PEOPLE last year after getting engaged. “I guess it’s true things move fast when you meet the right person.” In February 2008, Schefft, 32, and Waterman, 35, met on a blind date.
Schefft made it big on The ABC Matchmaking show ‘The Bachelor’ in 2003 and starred in ‘The Bachelorette’ in 2005. She also wrote a book on relationships called ‘Better Single Than Sorry’ and also is the Director of ad sales for Heavy.com.
