Johnny Depp has that elusive dream profession to which most actors aspire. He’s both critically and commercially profitable, with sufficient cash to throw at any projects that suits his fancy. But there are elements of his job that Depp doesn’t considerably enjoy… namely, possessing his photograph taken.
“Well, you just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped … It just feels like a kind of weird – just weird, man. [I'll pose with fans], but whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like – you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid.” He explains his discomfort to Vanity Fair‘s Nick Tosches.
Johnny has joined the Kristen Stewart Foot-in-Mouth Club, which she founded last year after telling Britain’s ELLE she couldn’t stand the paparazzi: “The photos are so … I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can’t handle it. I never expected that this would be my life.”
Stewart later apologized, explaining, “People thinking that I’m insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake.”
