Kate and one of her twin daughter Madelyn enjoyed a little one-on-one time in San Diego while Jon Gosselin watched over the other kids at home.
The mother-daughter duo spent four days at the Paradise Point Resort and Spa in San Diego. They were seen relaxing on the beach and at the outdoor café.
One full day was filmed for the show, while the other three days were camera free. However, the bodyguard accompanied the duo on all four days. Even though the pair wanted to spend some time relaxing and not attracting attention, they were certainly noticed on their visit.
During one outing, resort guest Krista Huber saw Kate, Mady and their bodyguard in a “golf cart-type bike.”
“We noticed this woman and a man and a little girl riding past us,” says Huber, a student at Oakland University in Auburn Hills, Mich., “We kinda did a double-take and realized it really looked like Kate Gosselin.” She said the trio “were all kinda scrunched in together, just smiling and talking.”
About the bodyguard, Huber said, “He really he did seem like a protector.” “He was definitely doing everything in his power to make sure nobody was bothering her or doing anything she didn’t like around her.”
