LeAnn Rimes has been accused of stalking Eddie Cibrian, her costar in the Lifetime movie, Northern Lights, by none other than his model wife Brandi Glanville.
Rimes’ spokesperson made the following statement to the press: “These comments are incredibly defamatory. While there are always two sides to every story, LeAnn continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press.”
“You know what, I’m a classy woman, I’m never ever going to battle anything out in the press,” says LeAnn Rimes herself. “I have respect for everyone that is involved and everyone’s family, including my own,” she said when asked about the allegations at the Dior Beauty Lunch at the Shangri-la Hotel in Santa Monica on Wednesday afternoon.
“I would never want to hurt my husband or anyone else with more lies dragged out in the press.” “It is what it is,” says Rimes. “I can’t control other people but I can control what I say and what I don’t. I refuse to get down on anyone else’s level and I’m going to take the high road on everything.”
With regard to the 7 year marriage between Rimes, 26, and Dean Sheremet, 28, a pal of the couple says, “They’re still working on their marriage,” and adds that the idea that LeAnn is hungry for fame is “extremely disparaging. To think that someone as successful and accomplished as LeAnn would want this kind of publicity is laughable.”
