Lindsay Lohan Free Again

Lindsay Lohan must be feeling very relieved at the moment.
Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, was seen arriving at a Beverly Hills courthouse early this morning for a meeting with Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel. They had an early morning meeting where Lohan’s attorney provided proof to the court in the judge’s chambers that the star has been compliant with her alcohol education classes. at the conclusion of this meeting, it was announced that Friday’s $50,000 warrant relating to her May 2007 DUI arrest was wiped clear. Lohan herself did not appear in court.
“The warrant is quashed and set aside,” Judge Marsha Revel said. “I’ve seen additional proof … that Lohan has been compliant with [her] program. There is no indication of dirty [drug] tests.” The judge also ordered that Lohan show new proof of enrollment by April 3.
“This was really much ado about nothing,” Holley told reporters. “As I indicated over the weekend, there was just a misunderstanding. Ms. Lohan has been in compliance [with the terms of her probation] and she continues to be in compliance.” Holley explained that a miscommunication with the court occurred “when she had been in one program but left that program” for another due to a “personality conflict.” “It was just a misunderstanding,” Holley added. “She’s been doing everything right.”
Lohan is currently serving a three-year probation term for her second DUI conviction, in August 2007.
