Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams, Married!
The singer-actress Mandy Moore and the rocker Ryan Adams got married secretly on Tuesday, (March 10) in Savannah, Georgia. This was confirmed by their reps. The couple had announced their engagement in February after an on and off relationship from March 2008. Mandy Moore was heard saying recently that she wanted a quiet and peaceful wedding and looks like she got it. “Hopefully, it can happen and slip by unnoticed by everybody. I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I’ll see what I can accomplish.”
Turns out she wasn’t very obsessed with the wedding day and didn’t even have a wedding dress design in mind. “I kind of feel like, because I’ve been able to get married in a few films, I kind of got the whole giant wedding fuss out of my system,” Moore said.
Ryan Adams, 34, seems to be going through a lot of change this year. He announced his break from the Cardinals, quit smoking and has been working on numerous books and now the wedding. He is growing up! He has a book of poetry scheduled to release next month, and another book, again of poetry later this year.
According to reports he is already working on his new album called Dear Impossible which is a follow up to his last album Cardinology, released in 2008. Since he is still on tour with the Cardinals for the last time, looks like the honeymooning will have to wait till his last show on March 20th at Atlanta’s Fox theatre.
