Rumors say that Mariah Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon are interested in buying an estate worth $125 million that now belongs to David Saperstein. The place is described as a “mini- palace with Italian marble walls, French limestone floors, gold-embossed leather wall coverings, a nine-car garage, ballroom, private running track and movie screening room.” Though these rumors were initially denied, New York Daily has also published the story and has added that she has already hired a designer and has plans of getting a pink nursery made too. She has hired Kenneth Bordewick to advice on the interior decoration. Like there wasn’t enough in there already.
Mariah Carey wants a baby girl and has already bought a pink crib and high chair from a San Francisco store. If the baby is a boy I think he will be scarred for life looking at the way she is going about preparing for a girl.
A source said that the place is 45,000 square feet and looked like a European castle and that one cannot even call it a mansion it’s more like the Buckingham palace. Though she is putting together a nursery already, it is not confirmed that she is pregnant. Some say she is considering adoption.
Her husband Nick is 28 and 10 years younger to her. When asked recently about having children he said he will have them soon, which sounded like in a year or two. I’m still curious about how the mansion will look when she is done with it.
