It looks like life hasn’t always been easy for the world famous teen sensation Miley Cyrus. In her autobiography, Miles to Go, the 16-year old singer/actor goes into detail about all the hardships and heartbreaks she had to go through before she made it big. Through her autobiography she wants her fans to know she’s a real person, just like them. And she wants her fans to feel closer to her.
One might wonder what kinds of difficulties somebody like Miley Cyrus could have possibly gone through. In the following excerpt for her book, she tells about the actions of what she calls the “Anti-Miley Club.”
It seemed like Operation Make Miley Miserable was escalating to a new level. More like Operation Take Miley Down. Three girls strutted up and stood towering over me. My stomach churned. I clutched my grilled cheese sandwich like it was the hand of my best friend.
[They locked me in the girl’s restroom during class.] They shoved me in. I was trapped. I banged on the door until my fists hurt. Nobody came. I spent what felt like an hour in there, waiting for someone to to rescue me, wondering how my life had gotten so messed up…
Makes you feel sorry for her, doesn’t it? Or are you at some level thinking why she has portrayed herself as the victim, now that she is living a teenager’s dream? People around seem to be thinking she’s being a drama queen and is trying to get sympathy from her fans.
