Natasha Richardson the British actress met with a skiing accident on Monday and was in a very critical condition in the Montreal hospital. When her agent was called, all the calls were forwarded to her husband, actor Liam Neeson’s publicist. Reports have said that she has suffered serious head trauma.
The 45 year old Tony- winning actress, reportedly got up after the fall and had walked away looking alright. But later, she complained of severe headache and was unconscious when she was taken to the hospital.
She was first taken to Centre Hospitalier Laurentien in Ste- Agathe, which is close to to the ski resort, Mont Tremblant in Quebec and later around 5 p.m. she was moved to Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur in Montréal.
Around 2 p. m. yesterday the hospital had told TMZ that she had brain swelling but wasn brain dead. She was also supposed to be transported from the hospital in Canada by an ambulance. CTV has reported that she had boarded a private jet and that she was accompanied by a medic team for the flight. There was a little confusion yesterday when Time out New York put up a post saying she was dead and later replaced it saying she was brain dead.
Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson were married in 1994 and have two sons, Michael Richard Antonio and Daniel Jack, who are 13 and 12 respectively. After hearing about the accident her husband left his set of the movie called “Chloe” to be with her.
