
“You always remember your first show of any tour,” says singer Gwen Stefani from No Doubt.
They started off their summer tour in Las Vegas on June 16 after a long break of five years. Clothed in white, the band played a pulsating set of 90 minutes at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The performance was for the 12th annual Tiger Jam, a benefit for the Tiger Woods Foundation. This organization helps in children’s education.
“The only reason we’re doing the tour is to feel inspired,” announced Stefani, to her 12000 fans who gathered for the event. The crowd included Woods, P. Diddy, Cassie, and many professional athletes.
No Doubt played a number of their new tracks along with their hits. Stefani also drove the crowd wild when she ran through them singing “I’m Just A Girl”.
Stefani is married to Gavin Rossdale and has two sons, Kingston and Zuma. No Doubt comprises of Tony Kanal on bass guitar, Tom Dumont on guitar and Adrian Young on drums. Previous members are John Spence and Eric Stefani.
The band was first formed in 1986 and made in bid with their breakout single “Don’t Speak” in the year 1992. Their last album was “Rock Steady” featuring hit track “Hey baby” was released in 2001 after which they came out with “The Singles 1992-2003” in 2003. This album featured 15 of their hits.
No Doubt has tried of different kinds of music ranging from Punk to pop and ska.
