OK Magazine gives tribute to living Jade Goody
This is another case of media wanting to be the first to get the scoop. The OK Magazine has issued the Jade Goody Official Tribute Issue all complete with her last wish and a picture of her with her two sons looking all sad. She seems to be owned by OK. The magazine bought the exclusive rights to her wedding last month for 700,000 pounds and then did not permit her friend to attend the wedding because she was working for another magazine. This friend of hers was also her biographer!
Most people want to know how people around would react if one was to die. I guess Jade Goody knows. At least she knows what the OK magazine would say. She has given media full rights over filming and writing about her life. She even has the results of her screening for cervical cancer shown on television. But this is no excuse for OK to publish a tribute for her when she is alive. Maybe its time they learnt to be patient.
Its not like they were always good to her. Before the news of her having cancer came out, they mostly published negative articles about her. Jade Goody says she’s doing this so as to be able to provide for her sons.
Though this seems strange for any normal person, her family has expressed support for the magazine and are grateful to the magazine for the support it has given through this distressing time.
