Oprah Winfrey is furious that Dr. Phil got an exclusive interview with Nadya Suleman. Oprah and her producers were themselves trying to get this interview and are pissed as they feel like he stole it from under their noses. We have our doubts as to how true this National Enquirer report is because Oprah co-owns Dr. Phil’s show though she no longer produces it. As a co-owner we would think she’d be happy that he landed an interview with OctoMom.
The National Enquirer also has reported that Oprah has been looking for ways to get back at Dr. Phil and has invited his wife, Robin McGraw to be on the cover. How is that getting back you ask? Well she has not invited Dr. Phil along and has given him no part in it.
A source said, “When Phil heard about it, he asked Robin, ‘They want us both, right? You know, we’re a team.’” When Robin told him that Oprah wanted only her, Phil looked like somebody had just run over his puppy. Later he turned nasty and said Oprah was trying to put him down.”
Oprah helped Phil start his career by featuring him every week on her show and then starting his show in 2002. She was also annoyed with him recently when he planned to start his own day time show, The Doctors, without telling her. She was starting her own series called Dr.Oz at the same time.
