Rihanna and Chris have patched things up and are definitely back together.
The pair united after almost three weeks since Brown, 19, allegedly beat up the “umbrella” singer, a source said.
“They’re together again. They care for each other,” says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s homes, on Miami Beach’s Star Island.
Adds the source: “While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”
“They are definitely together and care a great deal about each other,” says another source in Miami. “They feel like staying in and working through their issues. So far they have not wanted to go out.”
Learning that his daughter, Rihanna and Chris have reconciled, Ronald Fenty said that he supported the singer in her decisions.
“Whatever road she chooses, I’m behind her,” said Ronald Fenty, when reached by telephone on Barbados. Fenty took the reunion in stride Saturday, as he worked selling novelty items on a street corner in downtown Bridgetown. He says he hasn’t spoken to his daughter since earlier this month, for her 21st birthday, and only found out about the reconciliation through the media.
“We are a family who stick together even though we are apart,” he said.
As for Rihanna, Fenty would only say, “She’s a smart girl.” When asked what he would tell Brown as a father, he demurred, “I have no comment on Chris Brown.”
Brown was booked by LAPD for making criminal threats but the case has not yet been presented to the District Attorney, who will ultimately determine which charges, if any, will be prosecuted.
