Robin Williams’ Heart Surgery Update

Robin Williams has canceled a comedy tour due to a heart-related problem. However, regardless of a family history of heart failure and personal history of alcoholism, his doctors agree that the 57-year-old Williams will most likely survive through the heart surgery.
Earlier this week, Williams has already canceled 4 of his shows as part of the “Weapons of Self-Destruction” tour in Florida, after experiencing shortness of breath and was taken to a Miami hospital.
Diane Rosen, William’s publicist, said in a statement Tuesday, that the comedian needs an aortic valve replacement. Rosen added that Williams wanted to thank the fans, saying “I’m so touched by everyone’s support and well wishes… This tour has been amazing fun and I can’t wait to get back out on the road after a little tune-up.”
