Phillip Phillips has joined the lines of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Jordin Sparks, and Scotty McCreery for the American Idol winners.  The American Idol finale was packed out with a lot of star-studded duets and medleys, and oh even a marriage proposal.

Yes, that true, American Idol alumni Ace Young (Season 5) and Diana DeGarmo (Season 3) amazed the crowded Nokia Theatre by getting engaged on live TV. Seacrest dimmed the lights and cued the music as Young launched into a proposal that left his new fiancé bowled over:
