Photos of Tameka Raymond’s departure from the hospital – where she was admitted after a plastic surgery procedure left her in a medically-induced coma – were released on Thursday, after an announcement on Wednesday that she had left the Brazil hospital.

Raymond, wife of R&B singer Usher, was spotted at the Airport of Guarulhos, apparently heading home to the United States.

Raymond spent 11 days recuperating from a cardiac arrest that she suffered prior to undergoing a routine plastic surgery procedure.

A spokeswoman for the Sirio-Libanes Hospital, Mirtes Bogea, said, “She left the hospital on Monday night. We do not have any more information about her condition.”

A spokeswoman for plastic surgeon Silvio Sterman, who was to perform the “simple liposuction,” Ellen Dastry said last week that Raymond, 38, suffered a cardiac arrest while being anesthetized for the procedure at Sao Paulo’s Sao Rafael Hospital.

Two months after giving birth to the couple’s second son, Raymond, 38, traveled to Brazil to have liposuction on her stomach, says Ellen Dastry. “Tameka Raymond came here on Friday to do a liposuction. Shortly after she went under anesthesia, she suffered a cardiac arrest,”

Less than a minute later, Raymond was revived with heart massage and placed in an induced coma before being moved to the intensive-care unit, said Dastry.

On Saturday, Usher canceled a performance at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala to fly to Brazil to be at his wife’s side.

According to Dastry, Raymond was then transferred to one of the best hospitals in Brazil, Sirio-Libanes Hospital.
