A hot Saturday night date!  Justin Timberlake made great on his promise right after accepting a YouTube invitation to attend the Marine Corps Ball on Saturday night in Richmond, Virginia.

The singer-turned-actor fulfilled his pledge and arrived on the arm of U.S. Marine Cpl. Kelsey de Santis, who asked him being her date in a YouTube video last July. She said in the video clip: “If you can’t go, all I have to say is cry me a river! Hit me up.”

Timberlake accepted the particular invite and said in a media meeting a few days later: “But not because she shouted out one of my songs, which I do love,” he said. “And not because she had all those beefcake military guys behind her to try to intimidate me. I don’t get asked out ever! So I was very flattered by that.”

Sources at the ball say Timberlake was a gentleman and “posed for pictures and seemed like a normal guy.” He wore a snazzy tux for the occasion and seemed to be having a great time.
