Strange as it may sound, Brad Pitt is in the News because he doesn’t want to be in the news. He says he is quite fed up of all the attention that is being paid to his relationship with Angelina Jolie. He says there is really no reason for his family life to be in the spotlight considering his private life is completely distinct from his professional life.
‘The publicity machine is out of control,’ he tells Newsweek. ‘It’s everything we didn’t sign up for.’ According to Pitt, every time he is out to promote a film he ends up facing a barrage of personal questions. If he were to refuse answering them, he would be blamed for not participating in the promotional activities of the film.
However, Brad Pitt tends to take his entire family of 7 for promotions of his films. For instance, the entire Brangelina brood including Pitt, 44; Angelina Jolie, 33; Maddox, 7; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; Shiloh 2, and 4-month-old twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline are currently in Japan to promote Pitt’s new film ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.’
They were pictured arriving at Narita International Airport in Japan. Little Knox Pitt stayed close to his papa the whole time and, in fact, was even dressed in identical grey jumper and flat cap that Papa Pitt was dressed in.
Angelina Jolie, on the other hand, is complaining of getting little or no sleep. Given her combined love for travel and her unwillingness to be parted from her kids, she ends up being awake most of the time. ‘I woke up at three in the morning with four kids with jet lag and two babies,’ she told The Los Angeles Times ahead of an awards ceremony.
Currently, the Brangelina’s are residing in Germany in the city of Berlin, where Pitt is filming his next release ‘Inglorious Bastards.’ Angelina insists that the family has no plans to settle down in any one place in the world. ‘I just really do love to travel,’ she says. ‘I love other cultures and I love raising my kids in the world.
