Sources have reported that the text message which is believed to have triggered the fight between Rihanna and Chris Brown leaving Brown with felony offenses was identified to have been sent by Tina Davis, his manager.
Davis who will be 40 this month was rumored to have had a relationship with Chris Brown whn he was 16 though both of them have denied it. She allegedly sent Chris a three page long text, which made Rihanna very violent and Brown retaliated by beating her senseless.
The detective’s affidavit in the case of assault has said that the text was “from a woman who Brown has a previous sexual relationship with.” Law enforcement sources said that the text talked about hooking up later- this really pissed Rihanna off and she ended up slapping and hitting him in a fit of anger.
Brown is seeking a plea deal with no jail time and Tina Davis could not be reached for comment on the new development. Chris Brown and Rihanna seem to have reconciled as they are working on a duet together and Brown is hoping to include this track on his new album. This album is due to be released later this year said a studio source to E! Online. The 2 singers are working on the same project but we can’t say for sure if they are on the same page after everything happened. Our guess is this duet probably wasn’t set up by his manager.
